TOO Too Sicily

From World Routes to the Alleys of Sicily

The Horizon as a Starting Point

Everything began at sea. Since 1982, the horizon has been my only compass: first in competitive regattas on Laser and Hobie Cat classes, then commanding leisure boats as a Second Class Officer. I have sailed more than 95,000 miles through Mediterranean winds and currents and beyond, learning that a boat is not only transport, but a way of being in the world.

The sea as a school of life

At sea you learn what truly matters: the value of time, attention to detail, respect for raw ingredients, and above all the art of welcoming people. The philosophy of good life on board is made of slow rhythms, honest flavors cooked in a small galley, and the pleasure of sharing stories in front of a sunset.

Seeing land with new eyes

After thirty years at the helm, I felt the desire to bring that same philosophy ashore, into my Sicily. Many guests, once back in Palermo harbor, asked me to guide them through the city. In those moments, walking among Arab markets and history-filled alleys, TooSicily was born.

I understood I could apply the same care of an offshore crossing to an urban tour. Visiting a market like Ballaro or Capo with me is not only sightseeing: it is the search for fresh produce, just like before setting sail. It is a journey through contrasts and flavors of a land that, like the sea, can be wild and refined at the same time.

TooSicily Mission

Uniting nautical precision and local passion

Today, TooSicily is the bridge between these two worlds. We combine the technical precision of a professional Captain with the passion of a local insider.

Whether you are on board one of our boats for a charter around the island, or inside a historic Palermo kitchen preparing caponata in one of our cooking classes, the approach is always the same: we offer the Sicily we love. The authentic one, made of honest flavors, excellent wines, and routes that are never ordinary.

Welcome on board. Welcome to Sicily.
