The sea as a school of life
At sea you learn what truly matters: the value of time, attention to detail, respect for raw ingredients, and above all the art of welcoming people. The philosophy of good life on board is made of slow rhythms, honest flavors cooked in a small galley, and the pleasure of sharing stories in front of a sunset.
Seeing land with new eyes
After thirty years at the helm, I felt the desire to bring that same philosophy ashore, into my Sicily. Many guests, once back in Palermo harbor, asked me to guide them through the city. In those moments, walking among Arab markets and history-filled alleys, TooSicily was born.
I understood I could apply the same care of an offshore crossing to an urban tour. Visiting a market like Ballaro or Capo with me is not only sightseeing: it is the search for fresh produce, just like before setting sail. It is a journey through contrasts and flavors of a land that, like the sea, can be wild and refined at the same time.
